Vortex Services LLC is working on sewer line repairs in your area. Your community has hired us to repair the main sanitary sewer serving your home. We are installing a special liner inside the existing sewer to renew the system quickly, without the need for excavation. During the repair, the liner blocks your home’s connection to the sewer system (see figure below). A remote-controlled robotic device will restore your sewer service once the liner is fully installed.
Since we install the liner through existing manholes, you may see personnel and small equipment in the yards where these are located. You might also notice an odor while we work; this is not harmful to you and will dissipate once we finish.
Note: Until your service is restored, please refrain from using water as much as possible. Minimal use of the toilet is permitted; however, avoid running dishwashers, washing machines, showers, etc. If your sump pump is connected to the sewer system, it is very important that you unplug it during the installation process. The work will take approximately 8 to 10 hours to complete.
