The Coatings and Materials Division at Vortex Products oversees the development, formulation and production of Vortex’s extensive line of polymerics, mortars, resins and grouts. Originally the home to Stag Technologies, Vortex Companies acquired the young start up based on its proven product and innovative approach to bring to market. Since the acquisition in 2018, the Vortex Products Coatings and Materials division has become the US leader in epoxies and Geopolymer mortars for infrastructure rehabilitation. This is due to its outstanding product development team, ability to produce in house, fast delivery, and after the sale technical support.

Vortex Services – Northeast is based in Livermore, Maine and formerly operated as the Ted Berry Company, LLC (acquired by Vortex Companies in early 2019). Ted Berry was a well-respected family-owned and operated trenchless services provider and had been prominent regional force in trenchless infrastructure rehabilitation since its conception in 1972. Vortex Northeast continues to carry on Ted Berry’s sterling reputation for providing outstanding service to its municipal and industrial clients.

In the five years since the Ted Berry acquisition, Vortex Services has been able to further expand its trenchless solutions and service offerings in the Northeast region.

Vortex Services – Northwest is based in Sumner, Washington. Prior to its acquisition by Vortex Companies in early 2020, this division formerly operated as Trenchless Pipe Repairs, LLC (TPR). The Northwest Division specializes in repairing and maintaining small diameter sewer, stormwater, and wastewater infrastructure. The company’s focuses include CIPP lining, robotic cutting, trenchless infrastructure maintenance, and cleaning and reinstatement services. Northwest is also Vortex’s most experienced installer of In-wall pipe rehabilitation services focusing on multi-tenant buildings, hotels and office complexes.

Vortex Services – Mid Atlantic is based in Freehold, New Jersey. This location formerly operated as North American Pipeline Services, LLC (NAP) and was acquired by Vortex Companies in 2020.

Founded in 1974 in Lakewood, New Jersey, NAP came from humble beginnings as a three-person sewer inspection and cleaning company. Under the ownership of Tom Mullen, who purchased the company in 2012, NAP grew to become a major player in the trenchless infrastructure rehabilitation sector and is one of the tri-state area’s largest pipe repair contractors. Today, the Mid-Atlantic region offers a variety of trenchless and traditional repair solutions to its municipal and industrial clients, from sewer and stormwater maintenance programs to CCTV inspections to large diameter geopolymer pipe lining. This one-stop shop also provides open excavation site work, hydro-excavation, installation, and other pipe and asset repair services.

Vortex Services – Southeast supports four locations. Chesapeake, VA, Greenville, SC, Decatur, AL and Atlanta, GA. The Southeast division was formed off the acquisition of VacVision Environmental, LLC in 2017, who’s trenchless service presence was dominant along the Southeast coast. The Southeast division’s core focus is on geopolymer lining, manhole rehabilitation, pipe bursting and CIPP lining services. Recent project awards and long-term maintenance contracts led to the opening of the offices in Alabama and Georgia.
